In a month's time we will be at the United Nations in New York presenting our report and recommendations on Home/Family and Climate Change.

As Easter approaches we bring to a close the first quarter of 2024. Here is a brief summary of our activity during these months.

Last Tuesday, at IESE Business School in Madrid, invited by Professor Nuria Chinchilla we attended a session with the Canadian Catherine L'Ecuyer, Doctor in Education and Psychology. We were able to discuss current educational trends, a thought- provoking content as we know the home is the first place of training for life. 

A few days ago, we had the opportunity to present ‘Happiness and Domestic Life’ at the European University Miguel de Cervantes in the Spanish city of Valladolid.

Last year we started a new project in collaboration with the International Centre for Work and Family to find out the impact of those relationships and the value of the Home in some circumstances. This year we will be researching with international academics and holding an Experts Meeting in Barcelona to deepen this work.

As every December, here is our latest newsletter with the milestones of the year and the Christmas wishes of our chairman, Bryan Sanderson. 2023 has been a more normal year, in which we left the pandemic behind and returned to face-to-face events. We hope 2024 will bring many more gatherings and peace to this world.

Rosa Lastra is one of HRF Directors, she joined our board six years ago now after being a Patron of the foundation and having participated in some of our Conferences. She holds the Sir John Lubbock Chair in Banking Law at the Centre for Commercial Law Studies (CCLS), Queen Mary University of London.
