As every December, here is our latest newsletter with the milestones of the year and the Christmas wishes of our chairman, Bryan Sanderson. 2023 has been a more normal year, in which we left the pandemic behind and returned to face-to-face events. We hope 2024 will bring many more gatherings and peace to this world.

Rosa Lastra is one of HRF Directors, she joined our board six years ago now after being a Patron of the foundation and having participated in some of our Conferences. She holds the Sir John Lubbock Chair in Banking Law at the Centre for Commercial Law Studies (CCLS), Queen Mary University of London.

Greetings to you all from Nottingham. This newsletter, the third of the year, finds us at the beginning of one of the most important events of 2023 for our Foundation, the Expert Meeting 'Home, Family and Climate Change'.

Many of you will be familiar with our Chairman Bryan Sanderson, for his work for HRF and in his other distinguished roles, but we thought it would be good to take the opportunity to ask him to share his reflections with us today.

Understanding the power of home to transform societies in the face of Climate Emergency, 28-29 September in Nottingham

HRF Director Maria Sophia Aguirre, Ph.D., a distinguished Ordinary Professor of Economics and researcher in the field of finance, family, and economic development, has been appointed President of Catholic Distance University on July 1, 2023.

On Tuesday we had the opportunity to return to Espacio Fundación Telefónica in Madrid to launch the results of the research we have carried out with the ICWF of the IESE Business School on the impact of housework on our personal, family and professional wellbeing.
