Working Paper | The home as the original source of intellectual development: From a pheno-anthropological perspective
Usochi Ilozumba obtained her bachelor’s degree in pure and industrial chemistry at the University of Nigeria, Nsukka, Enugu State, Nigeria. She has worked as an industrial chemist at Juhel Nigeria Limited, a NAFDAC and ISO-certified private pharmaceutical company in the southeast of Nigeria. She has also worked as a facility manager, and later as administrative officer for Atlantika Cultural Centre in Lagos, a private non-profit organisation providing multifaceted personal, cultural, and professional development for young girls. From October 2013 to June 2018, she held and completed a five-year study scholarship at the Pontifical University of the Holy Cross in Rome, Italy, specialising in philosophical ethics and anthropology. She is currently a full-time lecturer at the Institute of Humanities, Pan Atlantic University, Lagos, Nigeria. Usochi has interests in international relations, anthropological studies, social and political ethics, education and development of women and girls, as well as human dignity and rights awareness projects.
