Alfredo Marcos originally studied Philosophy at the University of Barcelona. He completed his Ph.D. on The Role of Information in Biology. He stayed at Cambridge and Rome. He has published a dozen of books on Philosophy of Science, Environmental Ethics and Aristotelian Studies, and more than a hundred of chapters and papers. He has taught courses and conferences at several universities in Spain, Italy, France, Poland, Mexico, Argentina and Colombia. He teaches Philosophy of Science at the University of Valladolid (Spain), where he is currently Full Professor and Head of the Ph.D. Program.
