Alban d’Entremont is Professor Emeritus of Human Geography at the University of Navarra, Spain. Born in Canada, he has a BA in Sociology and Economics, an MA in Geography and a PhD in Geography and History. At the University of Navarra, he taught Economic Geography, Population Geography and Environmental Studies, he was Dean of Liberal Arts and Head of the Department of Geography and Territorial Management. He has collaborated extensively with the International Geographical Union and the International Baccalaureate Organisation, and has been Visiting Professor at several dozen universities in Europe and the Americas. He is the author or coordinator of 12 books and over 200 articles on the family, demographics, economics, urban issues, geopolitics and the environment.
