Jowita is a manager with almost 20 years of experience in digital transformation, business strategy, marketing, and media markets mainly in information and communications technology and energy business. In her various roles as Marketing Director and Advisor to Chief Executive Officer, she was responsible for developing strategies, company restructuring processes, brand building, human resource development, customer service, and purchase strategies. She dealt with technology-influenced business models, new consumers and their impact on global economy, and social media marketing.
Currently, Jowita is Chief Executive Officer of Digital University, a foundation dedicated to the development of strategic digital competences, which cooperates with Warsaw School of Economics, Harvard Business School, and Singularity University.
She is also Chief Executive Officer of Smash Polska, a startup company founded by Deloitte Central Europe that organizes Smash, the biggest technology, innovation, and creativity conference in central Europe.
Jowita speaks at many conferences, actively blogs, and is a member of several organizations including Vital Voices, Girls Go Startup Academy, Technology in Skirt, and many startup accelerating programs to which she offers her support as a mentor or volunteer. She co-organizes weekends for startups, hackathons, seminars, and conferences. She was the host committee member of Global Summit of Women 2016.
