Elizabeth Robb

Elizabeth Robb is an independent healthcare consultant and Non Executive Director. She was Chief Executive of the Florence Nightingale Foundation for 7 years until March 2017. Previously she worked as Director of Nursing and Deputy Chief Executive at North West London Hospitals NHS Trust. Elizabeth is a Registered Nurse and Midwife and retains current registration in both disciplines. She has an Advanced Diploma in Midwifery, is a Registered Midwife Teacher, and holds an honours degree in Management and a Masters Degree in Nursing.
In June 2008 she was made a visiting Professor in Leadership and Nursing Practice at London Southbank University. She was conferred an honorary doctorate from Thames Valley University, now The University of West London, in November 2009. In 2010 Elizabeth became a Non Executive Director of NHS Professionals and Chairs the Board Clinical Governance Committee.
Elizabeth was awarded an OBE for Services to Nursing and Midwifery in June 2015 and in September 2015 was presented with an honorary doctorate from Plymouth University in recognition of her services to nursing and midwifery.
She is widely published on patient safety, leadership & care pathways.
