Having obtained a doctoral degree in Humanities (2017) and a Master’s in Nursing and Health Research (2014), she is the current director of the Institute of Culture and Thought and lecturer in Philosophical Anthropology and Ethics at the Universitat Internacional de Catalunya (UIC Barcelona). She is also a researcher for the WeCare Chair: End-of-life Care at the UIC Barcelona offering her humanistic background to the biomedical and scientific sphere. She has published several papers on the existential aspects of the end-of-life context, especially concerning the experience of the wish to hasten death. She is also interested in the phenomenology of illness and in the experience of suffering, death and dying from the perspective of philosophical anthropology and qualitative analysis.
